I became a member of India Today Book Club way back in september 2007. The ITBC membership was offered thorugh a mail sent by the Club to my mail ID had an intersting offer - I could choose books or Music today CDs at a special discounted price while subscribing to the clubs membership.
Books and Music both have been my intersts. As far as free offer is concerned I choose 9 CDs which were on offer from their range of MUSIC TODAY CDs - mostly classical music.
The payment for the offer was made through my credit card - which got debited in my next months statement.
A week later I got a membership no for my ITBC club membership and I was notified about the order no after payment confirmation .
It has been about two months now and the order is yet to be delivered?
Several calls and e-mails to their numbers and during the past two months have yet not resulted in the execution of the order.When you call their number the response is that the order will be executed in 7 days time or the order was executed and sent to u & was returned undelivered - however when you check about the PUD no of dispatch they do not have any information.
The mail sent to their mail ID mentioned on their website too has not brought any response.
The unresponsive system of the companies like INDIA TODAY GROUP could lead to killing your interest in buying from the web based setups. Organisation which do programs to build INDIA need to do some work to build their own setup - learn to be responsive to customer needs .
I wish ITBC puts their house in order before working on anything else.
