The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Mick Foley, Shawn Michaels and many more have swayed the WWE universe and entertained millions around the world. Every once in a while there comes a champ who revels in glory and grabs the gold creating sports entertainment history. John Cena has climbed the stairs to the top at a faster pace than anyone else. From a rebel punk rapper to a mass favorite, he's done it all. Question is, has he peaked too soon and on course for decline.
Well it would be myopic to prognosticate his fate in this industry. I'd rather just sit back and enjoy the ride. John Cena lives by a code and sure as hell fights by it. Never give up, it applies to professional wrestling as much as anything else in this world. For him the only way forward is by fight through with a lot of grit, hustle, loyalty and respect. Can you ever forget the epic battles he fought with the Big Show, Randy Orton, JBL and The Undertaker.
Now he confronts the self-proclaimed Champ also know as the celtic warrior, Sheamus. A rookie who was handpicked by the wwe chairman, Mr. Vince McMahon to be a rising star of the current generation of superstars, shoved him through a table to get the gold at the PPV Tables, Ladders and Chairs. Ever since, Cena has been restless and driven to regain what he believes is his rigtful title, WWE Champion.
He got his re-match against the "celtic warrior" a couple of weeks after he lost his title but got screwed. Now he's out of contention, most likely for a brief while as the current storyline plots him in a different mould leading up to the Royal Rumble.
