WILL JOHN SURVIVE IN BOLLYWOOD. Review on John Abraham

I am writing this review cause I was amazed to see that a hot actor like John Abraham has so far only3 reviews written for him and that all also have been rated USEFUL only.

So here goes one from my school of writing.

Career start from a movie like Jism

Well he started his career with a movie like JISM which no doubt was a HIT but it would be a grave injustice to give the credit of the success to JOHN as we all know that movie was a hit because of the skin show of Bipasha Basu, but on the same hand if you look at the movie there is more skin show by john rather than by Bipasha. Anyways first impression that I got after watching this movie is that a hot actor with great international looks has made his debut in the tinsel town.

Second movie a big disaster “SAAYA”

If you want to see the real JOHN do not miss this movie, although this movie was a big flop but he has acted very well in this movie. This movie really proved that he can act and he has much more than a hot body to offer.

Than a string of flops to his career

After Jism john has nothing to show his later movies are flops and some of the movies even failed to get a good opening. Movie like LAKEER, SAAYA, AAITBAAR, MADHOSHI, ELAAN and KARAM are flops.

Elaan was his worst performance so far and KARAM his best one.

No doubts he has made some very poor choices in selecting the movies. Movies like MADHOSHI and Elaan were disasters. They have nothing to offer neither his acting skills were there nor the story was good and Indian viewers are not that stupid to waste their money in watching a movie just because to see an actor with a sex appeal.

But the worrying factor is that movies like AAITBAAR and LAKEER were big flops despite of huge canvas big stars like Amitabh Bachhan and Sunny deol. This just give me one feeling is JOHN being restricted for promos, wallpapers and cd’s only..? will he able to give a big hit..?

KAAL another average grosser from JOHN..

Another big movie with a big star cast another average (can’t say flop) from JOHN although everything about this movie was right. Pre publicity, huge canvas, item song from SRK and MALAIKA ARORA, karan johar production and all.

Summary about his CAREER…

So I can summarize his career so far in the following points..

1) He got so much hype not for his acting but for his looks, no doubt he is one of the hottest actor in bollywood but can’t say how long will he be there cause looks alone can’t win u roles.

2) He doesn’t have any hit after JISM that too not because of his acting skills.

3) He got the credit of his affair with Bipasha Basu but in long term it will prove as a liability.

4) He defiantly needs to be selective in his approach of selecting movies and he is in desperate need for a hit movie

I will just end this review with one of his statements, which I really like in one of his interviews with star news he said

“That education really counts in your looks being an MBA and having good academic record I am proud that intelligence shows in my looks”

This was one of the best words I have heard from a BOLLLYWOOD ACTOR.
