Nestled in a quiet street corner near Indian Oil Colony, Andheri (W), Joey's is a quaint, little pizza joint, mostly catering to the order-at-home crowd. And thank goodness for that. For what we have here, is silence, privacy, no 'radio mirchi' crap, a cool breeze, a minimalist interior decor, a nice proprietor who takes your order with a smile and suggests money-saving combinations, and, importantly, no waiters to hover around and stare at your girlfriend, and yes, the pizzas are so piping hot, they ought to put in a statutory warning sign. 15-20 minutes is the serving time, but the atmosphere's so nice for unwinding, I wouldn't know if they took 30 minutes.
The pizzas are a value for money proposition. A medium pizza with nice veggie toppings and a 500 ml coke (a meal for two) would be around 160 bucks. Plus, you could have half a pizza with one topping, and choose another topping on the remaining half.
Though, personally, I feel the pizzas at PizzaHut and Dominoes are just that bit ahead on overall quality and taste, Joey's is very, very close.
The home delivery options works fine too. I stay close by, and I get in within half an hour usually. Nothing beats the dine-in option though. try it some day.
