Though it seems far from the real School life but Director has prove his metal how to make it beautiful and effective and create a special craze amongst students. The theme of the story is quite simple and cool, but the pasteurization of songs and acting of Amir Khan, specially is an excellence…… Amir has shown his real talent in the film, the film is based on bondage between family - father and brother.
Amir(Sanju) and his brother Mamik(Ratan) runs a small local café. Ratan on his part is the ideal son and elder brother to Sanju, good in everything he does and has been the runner-up to Shekhar in the cycling race. Sanju on the other hand is a prankster, not taking life seriously at all enjoying life with his friends among whom is Anjali(Ayesha Jhulka) who loves him silently. Sanju however turns his attention on a modern School girl Pooja Bedi(Devika). In the second part of movie when Deepak Tijori(Shekhar Malhotra) the arrogant and previous years Bicycle race winner hurt Mamik(Ratan) with his friends to stop him compete in the race.
Then Amir take his moral responsibility to compete Deepak Tijori in the race and in the very final round of the race he wing Bicycle and made his father, brother and School proud on him. Direction of the film is really proved worthy. Film is a real entertainment the Director has given special attention to focus on every department, whether it is humor, comedy, love scene or emotional sentiments. Director has given special visual effects to the various important scene. Pictureization in the film viz. fight scenes, songs.
The choreographic song – ‘Pehla Nasa, Pela Khuma’ looks quite good and given way to choreographers to perform their metal in the movie songs. The last part of the movie where Amir converts his careless attitude to a responsible person is real charm to see. The last song of the movie ‘Ruth ke ham se kahin jab chale jaoge tum, ye na socha tha kabhi kitne yaad aaoge tum’ is quite good and worthy and give special impact of the movie is worthful watching. Overall Amir’s performance in movie is excellent. The Bicycle sporting event was picturized in the beautiful town of Nainital, Uttranchal.
