Great score by M.M.KREEM!. Review on Jism Songs

Well you all must have seen the promos of JISM by now and must have been quite shocked to see it too......coz it is quite a bold trailor for a Hindi film,but since the film is titled jism it ought to be an adult film.I am not exactly looking forward to this flick starring JOHN ABRAHIM and BIPASHA BASU,but the music really caught my attention the moment I heard it in the promos and from that time I was literally waiting for it to release...............and what a album it has turned out to be.After SUR,M.M.KREEM has come up with a splendid score,which you cannot afford to miss.The music of the film is pure class and if you are the sort who appreciate good,different and off-beat music you just have to check out this splendid album.The lyrics are by SAYEED QUADRI and NEELESH MISRA.I think Jism has also got one of the best written songs in recent times.

There are five songs in the album.

It opens with the song JAADU HAI NASHA HAI which is on air now-a-days and it is the best song of the year in my opinion.I think this album is worth picking up for this song alone.Its an infectious tune,very melodious and the lyrics have a kind of sensuality woven around them.And what comes as a surprise in this song is SHREYA GHOSAL......sHE IS SIMPLE BRILLIANT,it is such a contrast to her songs in Devdas,but does she impress!She is really one singer to watch out for.Jaadu hai is in two versions and the other is a duet sung by Shreya and Shaan and the lyrics are different........but musically it is just the same.Overall a brilliant song.

AWAARAPAN BANJARAPAN........is also a great track though it is a bit sad and philosphical,it is not at all boring.The lyrics are a high point of this song and also that it has been brilliantly sung by KK.It is not a kind of song which you will like instantly,but which grows on you on repeated hear.This song is repeated thrice in the album with different lyrics and singer,the other two versions have been sung by M.M.KREEM,himself.

CHALO TUMKO LE KAR CHALE......is another outstanding song.Great lyrics,great music and great singing by Shreya Ghosal makes this song a gem.It is good to see people come up with such refreshing love songs,the song has a very semi classical-western kind of music.Hauting song.

MERE KHWABON KA......is again a very slow sad ghazal numa kind of a song.I think the hero has a very sad life in this film coz all the three songs sung by the male singer are sad and depressing nevertheless they Sound great.

SHIKAYAT HAI.........is also a sad song sung by ROOP KUMAR RATHOD.This song also has a very ghazal feel to it,and is very soft and mellow,lyrics convey a sense of sadnes.Again not a kind of song which you will like instantly,if you have a liking towards ghazals and all you are gonna love it otherwise it will take you time to like it.

Overall JISM is a brilliant album and one of the best of the year.I wait for such kind of albums which offer you something new,away from the routine stuff.Hats off to M.M.KREEM for attempting something different......if you have a taste for experimental music this is an album for you,buy it now,you'll not regret it.
