Jio info comm offers hi speed internet plans. there is a catch!? all these plans say like 1GB data! per day. after one gb speed will be reduced to 128 kbps. I am using a Jio wi fi(2000rs for wi fi modem which can connect 12 devices) plan of Rs 399/- 1 gb per day. like everybody I too thought and the sales guy convinced me its 1 gb down load per day after that down load speed will be reduced to 128 kbps. Big NO! its purely 1GB data transfer up to 3mbps speed! within 2-3 hrs it will be over after words you will be getting 80-90kbps as good as no internet! hope other service providers also doing the same trick. TRAI is not monitoring these service providers. govt of India is boosting of digital India and no internet connection will be less than 2mbps speed?
just imagine atleast 4 mobiles and a desktop or a laptop connected and the speed is 80kbps?! 80/5= 16kbps! thats what Jio will give you after 2hrs of connectivity. out of 24 hrs 22hrs you will be getting 16kbps per device as good as no internet. what a marketing strategy under digital India?
