My trip on 21st nov. was the most exciting trip in corbett so far. I have visited corbett 5 times before but this one was the most memorable one. I stayed in my favourite resort JIms Jungle Retreat. Its like a second home to me. I feel like I am in my home with my brothers, Jaspreet and Majid. Not even for a second you feel that you are a guest over here. It seems as if you are a part of this wonderful resort.
People come to see tiger in corbett. They do jeep safari and still not able to see tiger. My suggestion to these people is come and stay in Jims Jungle Retreat and you will see the tiger without even going on safari as there is a tiger in the 100 meters radius of the resort.
I am saying this because I myself had a head to head experience of tiger on the nature walk in the evening. If I would have continued walking even for 5 seconds more, I would have been face to face with the tiger. We were returning from the nature walk with Majid bhai and were just about to reach the resort. We were casually walking as could see the lights of resort. It was dark as it was 7 in the evening. We heard roar of tiger, we just stopped and saw the tiger standing on our way barely 10 meters from us. We were left speechless as it was the way to the resort. We moved sideways and then reached resort from behind the tiger.
When we were returning to Ramnagar station to catch the train at night, we saw a tusker on the road just 500 meters from the resort.
I would recommened this resort to every wild life enthusiast that if you wish to experience wildlife then there is no other resort better than this.
In the end my special thanks to Majid bhai and Jaspreet sir for the love and affection showed on the trip.
I will soon return to my 2nd home again in coming 2-3 months.
