Location: Proceeding from Bandra station towards Hill Road, turn left from Balaji's on Hill Road and a few metres down on the right is Jim-mes Kitchen.
Timings: 11am - 2:30pm & 6:30pm - 12am. Open all days of the year.
Food Quality: very consistent. I have been visiting here since 1998.
Food & Favorite Dish: Chicken & Beef Chilly rice along with Beef Chilly gravy.
Serve beef. Just stopped serving pork.
Alcohol & dessert are not served here.
Soft Drinks are available.
Cost: A complete meal for 2 would = Rs. 360-400. (Approx Rs.90 per dish.) Soups cost anywhere from Rs.55 - 70.
Keep in mind that they usually increase the prices by Rs.5-10 per dish once every 2years during the popular Bandra Fair in September. By the way, a price hike by Rs.10 was already done in 2005. So we can expect another hike in Sep2007.
Portions: Each portion is more than enough for 2 people; but not for 3.

Service, Food Preparation & Health: Waiters are polite and if you want a dish made differently, (like without Ajinomoto / less spicy / less salt or oil) the cook willingly obliges. So Foodies who are concerned about guarding their health, can always be rest assured that you will be well taken care of, given. Food is served within 10mins of ordering.
Additional: They also have World Space music - so every time am there I make sure they switch to my favorite Country channel.
Ambience: Not fancy, but simple warm bulb lighting. Restaurant does not have a view.
Space: They have a mezzanine & AC. Can accomodate 32 people easily in one go.
Home Delivery: In Bandra only.
Reservations: Not required.
Wait time: 10minutes at the most
Branches: No branches
Parking: Is a problem for even small cars as the restaurant is located in a lane. You can look for parking in the by-lanes. Bikes dont have a prob and can park in front of the restaurant. However, its best approached walking or by rickshaw.
Jim-mes Kitchen is also just walk from Bandstand with your loved one.
I enjoy sitting there on a rainy evening with a bowl of Sweet Corn Chicken soup & Country music.
