Commendable. Review on Jillunu Oru Kadhal Songs

Hey...ARRs back with another rocking album of a vaarrrrriety of songs...

well the expected singers have rendered their voices...naresh iyer,shreya ghosal,vasundhara das,etc...

The album has wide range of songs..however im somehow able to relate it to ARRs previous albums like New and anbe aaruyire(tamil).

Coming to song wise scrutiny...lets start of with Jillunu oru kadhal title track...very peppy and unique rendering by ARR...and something the tamil music industry hasnt seen in these years...sounds like an ad film jingle though..

Kummi adi is a nice village based song..with an intro with Naresh's metallic voice and half tamil pronounciations..and the rest of the song continues on a very smooth note..the rhythm and energy is maintained throughout with theni kunjamma giving excerpts of her own voice.Swarnalatha has made a comeback with this song..

Munbe va..i would another soul rendering song with the thin,silky voice of Shreya Ghosal and the 'Mayilirage' and 'Innsiai' man Naresh Iyer and ammazing use of keyboard in the intro..i can say this will be the hit song of the season..

New York...again a roobaroo kind of song with ammazing strumming and ARR's voice...very peaceful and ammazing harmonies...well..takes u to another world...dunno wat to say..so skip to next song :P

Mazaa Mazaa.. asong like thazhuvudhu from AA(tam)..SPB Charan lives up to his dad's name..but dunno wat the song is all about though..

Maricham a different song all together...a typically western based..with a lot of DJing gone into the song..wudnt want to say much about this song.. and machakari too another song by vasundara das and shankar mahadevan...may b I will have to listen to it a number of times to like the song..not these werent my favs though.

thats about it...still waiting for another HUUUUUUGE hit of ARRs
