Of all the bad luck I have had with watching movies-this was the worst!
The cast, crew, music and the brand name promised this movie to be an entertainer. Maybe the hopes were too high or the story line was portrayed too pathetically. Honestly I think its the latter.
Don't you honestly think we have had enough of Abhishekh with his oiled hair, UP accent, rowdy look. Is Abhishekh so unflexible as an actor or have writers stopped visualising him in any other way. We can see glimpses of this same look in Bunty aur Babli as well.
Title track which is played at the start of the film is amazing, but hearing the same tune, the same dance movements in regular intervals during the rest of the movie is pretty uhh hummmmm the right word I am looking for is "MONOTONOUS"
So a guy and a girl meet and they think each one is trying to pick the other one up.in that case my first logical question is why talk at all? Instead such a weird concept of fooling each other by stating the other is engaged weaving a fictional concept of the weirdest love stories.
Lara Dutta certainly knows how to act and she has proven it in the roles she has essayed . Although the character could have been portrayed more strongly and with a little more conviction which is something for the writers to work on.
Preity Zeinta is yet another pretty face in the movies.nothing special about acting there!
All in all we couldnt keep our eyes open despite the fact that we were a group of people who had gone to watch the movie.
Bottom line-if you really need to Jhoom I suggest you actually pick up a bottle of really strong booze and knock yourself senseless than watching this movie!
