This is another money making venture and nothing else. Almost everybody in the staff of this institute is concerned with themselves only. The plight of the students is completely ignored. It's like - the students, their concerns are nothing at all. They have feedback forms. But me and my mates know where those forms end up. In the bin. It's all for formality sake. A big eye wash.
Their ads promise big big things, but in reality they fail to deliver. Trouble is you wont know it’s not good until after you are in, which is too late. I agree with frank when he says that others will also give negative feedback. Most will not give their frank views openly because they fear that they wont get good marks and subsequently they wont get good jobs.
Who is to help them? Most of they come from poor socio-economic backgrounds. They need that “ job “. This isa where they are exploited. That job guarantee thing that is dangled in front of their eyes.
Also there are students here who seem to have no aptitude for networking. They just cant seem to get it. I feel sad for them. After spending so much money there’s no one here to help them learn properly. Not one staff member, not even one is interested in taking up these weak students and making sure that they become what their course is supposed to stand for: Jetking Certified Hardware and Networking Professional. Kindly notice, it says Networking and Professional as well. I wonder if anyone in the staff even knows the meaning of those two words.
Also the jobs they give seem to be mostly hardware trainee engineers. If questioned they say, everyone has to begin from this level only. Bull. My friend has done only CCNA and he’s already on the router in just two months. Then they will say the caliber of the student also decides the job type. Notice, now the caliber of the student has become important. Never mind that when collecting the fees the caliber of the student was the same. But at that time there was no issue. And even when “ training “ there was no issue. If there’s no one to help the students whose fault it is if they cant deliver?
Coming to the “ training “. Without an iota of doubt, if I give my international certifications based on what they teach its hara-kiri. I’ll never pass those exams with the hardly surface scratching knowledge that is given. Also the “ lectures “ seem like the faculty just memorized the chapter from the book the previous day and delivered it. For hardware assembling, we were not given live machines to assemble. I wonder what type of hardware engineers we are, who haven’t assembled even one computer on our own.
I tell you its all a FARCE. My sincere advice to all ( I really cant bear to see the plight of those around me, but I cant do anything for them ) don’t waste your time and money here. For hardware try and join one of these PC assemblers. You will learn much more. For networking try IP Solutions. That’s where my friend did his CCNA from. I wish I could have done that. But then hindsight is always wise. Regarding all the other reviews here, I know this much, if anyone is giving a positive feedback then it can mean only two things; 1) It's someone from the Jetking staff itself. or 2) The guy doesn't know what he's talking about.
