Refreshingly geniune service for a change. Review on JetLite

Ironically it was the lack of room on one of the Jet airways that made me consider the option of flying Sahara and yes that made me realise two things :that lack of proper PR and effort o channelise the word of mouth marketing could be critical in the success of a smaller player in any industry.

The flight to Mumbai fron bangalore was a pleasant and comfortable experience made all the more delightful by the relative lower fares . The in flight crew were genuinely concerned about keeping the passengers happy and the service was with a smile that really did not suggest their weariness and boredom in what is usually treated as amundane chore by Indian Airlines and Jet of late has begun to act a little too pricey (i guess lack of a geniune competitor on the service front has made them complacent)

The aircrafts seemed to be well maintained and overall seemed like a well managed airline.

However what still surprises me is the apparent lack of marketing startegy in place which has made the airline slip into the slot of a yet another struggling loser kind of an airline reflecting on its much lower capacity utilisations on its routes.

They really need to push the marekting forward and create in the minds of people the image of the airline as a class act.

else they will have to cave into the pressures of a very ruthless and tough ariline industry which has seen many a airline crashing on its belly .
