If you think Air Sahara is better than Air Deccan, you are waiting to have shock. The only difference between them is you will have multiple flight attendants present in flight.
The food is pathetic (I remember food was one of the major factors in the initial days). If you prefer non-veg, there is another shock waiting for you. Most of the time I found the attendant requesting me to go for a veg product as the so called "limited stock" of non-veg meals are over (even if your seat number is 20D. You can argue with the staff saying every time you fly, why the stock gets over! And you will get a cold chicken sandwich after 15 mins as your prize! Probably they pick that from the left over stock of the business class.
If you are flying on a Sunday morning from Kolkata to Bangalore via Hyderabad, be ready to wait for about 2 hrs in Hyderabad as they often claim that the Bangalore Airport is close for maintenance (I still do not understand if they know its going to be closed, why did they schedule the flight! may be in hope for a miracle to happen) .
So the only time you should select Air Sahara when the price is less than the other "No Frill" airlines - otherwise pick up any other (Spicejet and Go Air are my favorites). Everything else is equally good (or bad!) in Air Sahara - starting from the checking counter till the seats.
