Air Sahara S2-141 Bangalore to Delhi----- Decent Flight

Well before starting up with the review let me tell all you great readers and writers of MS that neither I have great writing skills nor a rich vocabulary. So in this review I request all of you great reader’s sympathy for writing a review in a very simple vocabulary.

My first review after a period of 12 months:

This review I am writing after almost a year. Last year my company kicked me to Bangalore office. I am born and brought up in Delhi and Bangalore was my first outside assignment. After completing 10 months I got the relocation in Gudgaon office and I was happy as well as sad on the same time to come back to my hometown.

Happy cause I am reuniting with my family again and sad cause of the memories of the most beautiful and intelligent girl the god has ever created will haunt me again, since she is married and living in Delhi only. Well I lost her 1 year back and relocated myself to Bangalore to come out of her memories but all in vain.

So sorry this is not about my story so let’s now concentrate on the Air Sahara experience only.

How I booked my flight.

In my company we need to book the flight on our own and later we get the reimbursement on submitting the air lines ticket.

So I went to a famous air ticketing agency near Netkalappa circle in Bangalore. But I was not sure about which air lines to choose as for me all are the same. They suggested me to go for Kingfisher airlines since they offer extremely good services and are the only airlines having the television facility but I was not able to get the ticket for the day on which I planned my return. Actually I went for Sunday air ticket bookings on Saturday only and all the flights by Saturday were booked.

Than One of my friends suggested me the https://airsahara.net link and advised me to keep checking the same for availability as this site kept updating every minute after spending nearly half an hour I finally succeeded to book a ticket online for S2-141 flight of Sahara from Bangalore to Delhi.

About the flight and call center:

Well flight S2-141 takes off at 12.10 from Bangalore and reaches Delhi by 2.45. It takes near about 2 and half hours to cover 1760 km’s (actual distance of Bangalore from Delhi).Once I booked the ticket online I called up the Sahara call center number 30302020 (you need to put the area code if u calling from outside Delhi) and I was extremely happy with their services not only I get hold of the live voice at first go but they also confirmed my ticket and gave answers of al my queries. Air Sahara call center is located in Mumbai.

My experience with the Flight:

I went to the Bangalore airport well in advance as I knew the traffic in Bangalore is at its worst in the early morning hours. First thing I did was to visit the Air Sahara counter and gave away the printed electronic ticket copy to get the paper ticket. I waited almost 2 hours in the airport since I reached so early. The flight arrived on time. I got the window seat 20F on right hand corner. To my bad luck I had a British family as my next seat companions. I am saying bad luck because they were on a tour to India for the first time and in me they found a free guide. Within five minutes their young daughter Lily must be in early twenties requested me to sacrifice my window seat for her entertainment and me like an honest Indian entertained her request with honor. The next 2 and half hours in the flight I was thrown with 1000 questions about India and Delhi by the family and I spend my time answering the same.

About the Food, Air hostesses and services:

Well now most important thing what a major section of guys would be interested in Air hostesses. Well I found them very decent wearing saris and covering themselves better as compared to the other female passengers in the flight. Food was normal not that good to remember and not that bad to throw away. Flight completed its distance in time and the services were really good. Most importantly since I was entertaining the brutish family by answering their queries every one in the flight was looking at me like a movie is going on and I am the villain in it. Air hostesses did some extra efforts to take care of us and after every 15 minutes offered me with water and juice and I humbly accepted their offer most of the times.

Some tips to remember:

1) While booking any flight I suggest you all to book online by using the website https://makemytrip.com. All you need is a valid credit card and you can choose your fare and plan well in advance according to your suitability. Do remember to write down the PNR number once your bookings are confirmed.

2) Always call up the customer care number once you through with your online bookings to confirm you ticket.

3) Always take a print out of the confirmation as that will only fetch you the original ticket.

Ratings on Air Sahara:

Food: 3 out of five.

Service: 4 out of five

Seats: 2 out of five ( I dnt like the seats they were pretty uncomfortable and lead to stiff in my neck)
