I worked in Noida for around 3 years. During that period, I used airway travel between Chennai and Delhi.
During that time, I tried around all the airways.Jet airways, Sahara, Spice jet, Go Air, Indigo and only missed Kingfisher:-(
In my experience, I haven't encountered any problem in start and end timing in any of the airlines. So I am not taking that point for my consideration.
Following were considered for this review on Jet Airways, from an economy class traveler point of view:
Ticketing - Very Good(on-line booking, hence no problem)
Check-in facility - Very Good(Being a big provider, have more counters. I have seen people coming late for check-in. For them, high priority was provided and checked-in ASAP)
Baggage Handling - Good(Very strict in extra baggage charges, even 1 KG extra will be charged. Whereas, I have taken additional luggages upto 2 KG for free in other airways. Being an economy class traveler, I would prefer to get these kind of offers from a world class service provider. Never missed my luggages.)
Security Checking - Very Good
Flight Attendants - Good(Felt the difference in behavior of attendants for people depending on the dress they wear by same attendant. Its not a feel good factor.)
Food - Good(Taste was good. But even for travel within India, food was Sandwich. Whereas, other providers gave traditional Indian foods which satisfied me.)
Seating - Average. Worst seating with minimal space. Being a 6 Ft tall person, I really felt hard in getting comfort
So the common things related to all kind of passengers are very good. But when it comes to travel time enjoyment, its not recommended for casual passengers who wishes to enjoy the travel as a whole. It may be best suiting for persons who wishes to enjoy the luxury. But in that case too, why not they can go ahead with Kingfisher?
