Jet Airways voted India’s Leading Airline at the World Travel Awards, 2006 Daily flights have been started on the Delhi-Amritsar and Delhi-Raipur routes; which has given Jet an edge over other airlines. · It has also maintained its track record of winning prestigious awards by being conferred laurels by the World Airline Entertainment Association (WAEA) for its in-flight entertainment system with two coveted awards – Best Overall In-Flight Entertainment and Best Single In-Flight Audio Program.
· Jet Airways was also judged the "best overall" airline for in-flight entertainment in the Small Fleet Category (based on number of aircraft) among leading passenger airlines world-wide by the World Airline Entertainment Association at its 27th Annual Conference & Exhibition held at Miami, USA. 2006.
· Jet Airways also got the best single in-flight Audio programme award and earned the distinction of second runner up for the best in-flight magazine, Jet Wings.
All this goes to prove that Jet has surely maintained consistent standards over the years. It has been given an entirely new dimension to the concept of luxury. With all the awards that Jet has won in the recent past, our belief gets confirmed.
I, personally have always preferred Jet over any other airline ever since. Being a Jet Privilege member myself, I have participated in many contests in ‘Jet Elite Surprizes', their monthly in-flight contest and also won fantastic prizes
Few other reasons why I prefer Jet over other airlines are:
Easy check-in procedures Timely flights; I have observed that late evening flights get delayed because of air traffic. Otherwise, the flights generally take off as per schedule Courteous and smiling flight attendants. I think this is one of the most important factors I consider. In today’s me-too world, focusing on service is the key to a successful airline. Excellent In flight facilities - Food/welcome drink served in time. Affordable Fares I suffer from air sickness, hence whenever I travel, the attendant specially offers me medicine along with a cookie. All these small things go a long way in adding to the so very overused term – “CUSTOMER SATISFACTION”.
With the arrival of Kingfisher, in flight entertainment has become crucial. That’s the only area where probably Jet lags behind.
