As per Insurance guidance and list for non-medical expenses list, every hospital collects the same from patients as Insurance Co., rules clearly states that Insurance co., is not liable to pay the same.
Even Insurance TPA co., approves initially, randomly, later when the settlement takes place(as and when settlement happens) they deduct the Non-medical Expenses and settles the hospital dues. This is a regular nature of work of Insurance co., . Hence, hospital collects the same from patient.
