Foot in mouth. Review on Jaya Bachchan

I guess that it will be fair to say that for second time running jaya bachan has put her foot in the mouth by suggesting that "she is upwali and would speak only hindi and my maharashtrain friends please forgive me" which unsurprisingly got raj thackeray all worked and he announced the boycott of all bachhan films  as a result of which commerce finally rules and the first family of bollywood apologises and hence agitation is taken back

i strongly feel that remark which jaya bachhan made in music release of drona was not  inadvertently made in humour but was made for two reasons  which maybe to promote abhisheks film drona as the film looks cold and as you know  negative publicity is the best publicity or to respect her political affiliations to samajwadi party by taunting raj as they were involved in a fierce battle few months back

I know that india is a democracy and everyone has a right to live in any part of india and to speak any language but according to me that remark was higly insensitive and insulting and also unnecessary as after all  this was not a political forum but justa music launch.

So if she would have spoken in  hindi no one would have objected but I think she deliberately made the comment riding on samajwadis party new found power which she should not have made as it was clearly knownthat raj would get angry and would react on it by damaging property or by assaulting poor taxi drivers or hawkers  which would have been unfair on these vulnerable people as she herself would have been comfortable in layers of security while these defenceless people would have been facing wrath of  self proclaimed marathi pride protectors

I am also amused by her claim of her being a person  from uttar pradesh which is highly flawed and is only political rhetoric as she in all purpose is bengali from nagpur and after marriage  has lived  all her life in mumbai  and  has never lived in mumbai

I think it is high time people start acknowledging this great city which has given them everything and made them famous but I also feel raj thackeray brand of politics is wrong as this city has being made by all communities and is not the sole right of marathis               *
