Jassi jaisi koi nahi...... How true!!!!!
But, frankly speaking I am very thrilled that there is only one Jassi coz another Jassi would mean boredom doubled. Well, I am not on a mission to capture those people who like Jassi or are her fans but instead to show the reality. As you read this review don't read it from the point of view of being Jassi's fans but, instead try thinking in my terms and you will understand how necessary it is for you also to stop viewing this serial.
Well, I started watching this serial from the time it was aired although not regularly. The aspect which made me get glued to Jassi was the manner in which she would tackle situations. It had a very good beginning and something really contrary to those K sobs. But, now I must admit that the serial is taking such a turn that there has been no link with its beginning and it seems an altogether different story. The story line has deviated a lot and now it has lost its charm.
The show began with an astute, quick-witted but UGLY MAIDEN solving all kinds of problems and leaving no stone unturned to prove that no matter what may arise she will not forget her duties. But as days have passed we are watching the transformation of Jassi into a BEAUTIFUL DUCKLING who is now more interested in herself rather than taking up responsibilities on her shoulder. I really don't care if they want to transform Jassi, but why do they need to transform the serial's content as well?
However, the thing which urged me to write this review was what I had watched in the last episode. It so happened that Nandini mam (Neena Gupta) had asked Jassi to change her spectacles as it was yet another step to her transformation. The answer that Jassi gave was bewildering. She replied - ''Yeh chashme toh meri pehchaan hain''. How absurd is tat!!!! Pehchaan naam se ya toh kaam se milta hain, lekin chashme se bhi...... woh kuch nayee si baat hain.
What are spectacles for? - for recognition or for seeing clearly??? Did she have her spectacles on the day she was born? It was really saddening to see that someone who was potrayed as a genius has fallen short of words and goes on to speak anything.
Moreover, Jassi isn't that stunning that every XYZ needs to comment on her beauty. She doesn't really have anything extraordinary in her physical appearance that all heads turn towards her. These aspects are simply spoiling the original fun. Infact Nandini Mam looks more prettier (and I hope she would have received those comments).
For a change, coming to Jassi's secret love - Mr. Amaan Suri. I really can't understand how did he agree to enact such nonsense. He no more has the personality that is required for the head of such a famous company. Aryan passed a very good comment in the last episode - ''Abhi tak toh pee kar aata tha, aaj peet kar bhi aaya''. That was excellent! Will he in the current postion be reliable enough to maintain the company's standards? Is he going to drain all his father's hard work in the beer bars and then get thrashed?
Does he know now that he is fit to be in the post of the watch man of the company? Many questions....... No answers.....
