Good one:-). Review on Jannat

Saw the movie Jannat last week. The move looked good. It starts with our hero(emraan) chasing a girl of his dreams(sonel). She works in a call centre. Finally the love blossoms and they start a live-in relationship. Cut the love triangle. This hero never settles with what he has got and aims big(too big to be precise). He has got some loans and one day his money lender comes to him to get his money back.

But our hero doesn't have the enough money and takes him to a bar. There he gets a chance to see some bookies making money and he gets insterested in this business. And thus starts the story of emran turning from rags to riches in a short time. He has got some sort of sixth sense. And tht's how he predicts the matches. I don't know from where he is getting these types of  intuitions.

But anyways the progress of the story looks good. I liked one scene in which the cops come to raid his business place and all of a sudden emran and his team hides the stuffs. For eg:-hiding the mobile phones inside chicken curry that type of stuff. In between the director hasn't forgotten to show their love affair. What I feel is that the new heroine needs to polish her acting skills a little more. Maybe we can accept the fact that she is a new comer and very much better than the usual fardeen khan and zayed khan.

At this point of time, I am not able to hide the frustration I had while watching fardeen's scenes in the movie "No Entry". He was laughing like a dog. Anways we are talking abt Jannat now. Then finally as we have seen in some english movies, the cops chase the bookie. Add to this, the heroine betrays our hero and he lands in jail. The heroine takes up the job of a stripper in a bar. Emran comes back from the jail and happens to see her lover in a bar, gets disturbed. But anyways they sort it out. She advises him to take up the nice route. He listens to her in the beginning, but couldn't help him. Finally she gets pregnant. Ok, here I forgot to talk abt the main bookie. He suffered some losses and needs our hero to make up for his losses by helping him in the world cup and in return he will get a mansion(ala jannat). He agrees to this and in the process of luring the batting side captain, a coach emerges from nowhere and he gets shot in a brawl between the guys. The cops chase emran and shoots him. But finally our hero manages to reach by his heroine's side and there these 2 stand in middle of a dozen policemen. What will happen next ? That is for u guys to figure out :-) Anyway I looked the movie and it deserves a four star rating.
