Janjira fort is fort which is made by Malik Amber a minister of Sultan Of Ahamadnagar. This fort is surrounded by water so it called as island fort. We can go to this fort by boat availlable at Rajapuri.It takes 10-15 minutes to reach to fort,
that experience was awesome. The best thing about this fort is you can not see the gate of this fort untill you reach near the fort. There are several tourist spots on this fort. There are guids are aviallble for you there.At entrance there is stone carving on which logo six elephants trapped by a tiger which is symbol of Siddhi's power . There is a school of that time . There is well of sweet water is miracle. There is underwater path which goes straight to Rajapuri, that path was used by people who lived in fort to travel to village for business and shopping. Historic cannans is another big attraction of this fort. There are many cannens but three are major. 'Kalal Bangadi', 'Landa Kasam' and 'Chavi' which are made up of five metals. Janjira is one of the undefeatable forts in India. It is beautifull fort so, you have to visit it if you are history lover.
