Jammu the second largest city in the state is under the foothills of the Himalayas is known as the ''city of tempels''.
As per the legend Raja Jambu Lochan in 9th BC,was stucked by an unusual sight of tiger and a goat standing side by side drinking water from the same place in the Tawi river.
He was thrilled by the coexistence and the beauty of the place he immediatly ordered the building of the city.
It is very unfortunate that the city which came into being for its beauty and coexistence has to be at the receiving end because of militancy exported by pakistan via kashmir.
