James - Just skip it !. Review on James

James - as RGV said its my first outright commercial type movie. and thats what got me interested , wanted to see how would RGV tackle a commercial type movie. and the result - A Big ZERO. the movie is the pits to come out from the factory in ages.

Lets get to the chase then , the story of James is like this - A politician who's crooked has a brother who is wicked , who picks up girls and rapes them and generally both create mayhem. in walk James(Mohit ) a guy from Goa, who believes in Izzat and standing upto crime and injustice. and its not necesarry for me to say that James crosses path of the wicked younger bro of the politician over a upcoming model ( nisha kothari).the movie then turns into a revenge cum chase movie - with lots of blood n gore. heard this before , right ?? u bet.

Actors - Mohit Alhawat rocks , the only bright spot in the movie. though I would like to seem in a role that requires him to emote, here as James he carries the movie on his shoulders. girls are gonna love him and so are boys. Nisha Kothari as the model is pathetic - she tries to copy urmila and falls bang flat on her face. there is plenty of skin show and lot of undergarment show by this girl and still she fails. rest of the cast is the RGV camp cast and they are competent enough playing the tough guys. The politician's bro -dint get his name- looks menacing till the time he opens his mouth , he puts his foot in every time he opens it.

Music - below average I dont even remember one song.

Direction - Absolutely loose. Rohit Jugraj has no control over continuity. also the movie is a tad too slow to be a real fast action movie. though must say majority of the action sequences are well shot. Mohits inroductory scene stands out. A dissapointing effort. to top that the dubbing was absolute third rate...lips and words a absolute mismatch in the songs and for the better part of the first half. and to top it a very very tame ITEM number from riya sen is the opening sequence .....The movie also has lots of scenes with blood oozing out from different body parts - not a pretty sight. The editing is loose too - introduction of Rajpal Yadav into the movie is something I could not understand , only helped in slowing down the slow pace.

Verdict - give this one a miss , watch out for Mohit though. Watch it if you want mindless action and a good newcomer (mohit) else watch it if you love to watch skin and have a fetish for watching heroine's underwear
