A beautiful palace showcasing the history ans lives of the Royal family of Rajasthan. A must visit especially for people interested in history.
You can see architecture, dress styles, everything to do with the royal family and a lot of arms. The most prominent and most visited structures in the complex are the Chandra Mahal, Mubarak Mahal, Mukut Mahal, Maharani's Palace. Sgri Govind Dev Temple and the City palace museum.
All the buildings are richly decorated and all deserve your attention. One of the inner courtyards for instance, has four small gates that are lavishly decorated with ideas to represent the four seasons. The Peakcoke Gate represents Autumn, the Lotus Gate represent Summer, the Greeen Gate represent Spring and the Rose gate represents Winter.
