So people my top pick for a quick & yummy nonveg parcel in bandra, mumbai has to be the Jai Jawan stall.
This famous stall is located on Linking Road, right opposite National college. Pretty close to Bandra station.I eat the delicious food from here regularly. My last visit being around this month's first week.
Well the stall opens in the evening and is famous for many items like tandoori chicken, tikka, fish fry but my all time favourite here is the prawns koliwada whis is prawns fried in special red koliwada style batter. They sell it on weight. It is served with a sprinkle of aamchur powder which gives it a signature taste twist. It is slightly costly but prawns are anyways not cheap. Second best dish here is the tandoori leg piece. It is delicious, perfectly cooked and nice fleshy leg. The green chutney, lime squeeze and onion go perfectly with it. This stall is right in the middle of a busy shopping street so eating there would not be as easy however many people do eat the goodness hot right out of the tandoor!
The running items go out of stock pretty quickly so dont be too late or you may miss out the yummyness! I would definitely give it a thumbs up. If you are in Bandra, shopping on Linking road you must come down here. You wont be disappointed.
