To start with, I'm a big fan of Salman Khan. I've seen him many a times in Bandra where he resides. He has this unique charm that many actors fail to put on. With no big releases up for next few weeks I guess this movie would do great at the box office and no better time to release this movie during the patriotic week.

As far as the movie goes, this movie is not for the people who look out for logic in movies, and it would be a good watch for the fans of Salman, as this movie is handled well by Salman and Danny. Both have acted exceptionally well and the rest cast also chipped in with descent efforts.

Being a die hard Salman fan I had to watch this movie and it was very long since Salman was seen on big screens. Competing with the latest super hit by Shahrukh(Chennai Express), Salman was expected to deliver even more better. I would say it was a average effort by Sohail Khan, but there are doubts if it could break Chennai Express records.

Salman Khan acting was exceptional and was the stand out among the rest of the cast. Tabu acting Salman sister also did a descent job & Danny Denzongpa was at his best till now as a villain. The debutant Daisy Shah didn't have much to do, but whatever she did she gave her best. She too impressed me to an extent.

I went for the first day first show and the entire theater was sold out. The theater had a huge buzz all throughout the movie.

Jai(Salman khan) being a very honest officer tries to eradicate injustice and fights for the truth. Having a belief that to do something for the country one does not need to put on uniform. Jai faces a lot of problem while trying to accomplish his mission of eradicating injustice, and he has to face Danny who is a powerful politician. Danny sends out hooligans to get hold of Salman and in the bargain Salman sister Tabu warns him that it could effect his family. Danny targets Salman's family and it gets personal this time round.

Salman's is helped by the people whom he has helped in the past initially he being unknown about this. This movie is all about awakening the common man and make people realize what they can do if they stand together. Spreading out the good deeds to others and in return others spreading it out onto others is what's it is all about.

To get the proper insights do watch the movie, and if you are an Salman fan then this is a must watch movie for you. For me Sohail khan has not put in his best but average but who cares? If it's Salman on the other side.

I would say that the plot was descent and it gave out a message to the common man. At least it is better than recent baseless movies. I prefer watching movies that spread awareness and gives out messages.

As mentioned, Salman was as usual at his best and well supported by Danny and Tabu. Salman was good especially at action sequences, and had that elegance in him.

Sajid-Wajid music adds charm to the movie especially the song "Apna Kaam Banta Bhaad Mein Jaaye Jantaa" gained a lot of attention. Just happened to read reviews on Jai Ho songs and would agree to @suraaz review. Bang on review, and if I was supposed to write a review on the songs of this movie I too would have written a review similar to him.

And the background score by Sandeep Shirodkar is brilliant and worth noticing.

Since the first time the poster of this movie was aired, it was all about Salman and only Salman and he has done justice to his role. The movie is copied from Telegu movie, and till dates all South remaked movies are success, and I guess that even this would pass it's expectations.

This would be the best among the on going movies to watch and it's a one time watch so head towards yours near by theaters to catch this flick this Republic Day.
