The trailer of Jai Gangaajal starring Priyanka Chopra has just hit the web where PC is seen justifying every bit of her role as the fierce cop in the film! It’s obviously a huge responsibility for Priyanka given that the prequel of this film starred someone as tough as Ajay Devgn in lead role! However, PC is thankfully doing a great job and is giving us enough reasons to watch out for this film next year! But turns out director Prakash Jha isn’t keen to let Priyanka hog away all the limelight with this film! Yes! You won’t believe but during the trailer launch today. Prakash was evidently seen ignoring PC and instead introducing every other members from the cast and crew! Following which, Ms Chopra even interrupted and yelled in mock anger that he is ignoring her! However, it was all in the jest of it!
The two were simply fooling around where Prakash was heard poking fun at Priyanka not once but many a times! He even publicly called her Madam Quantico and took undue credit for training her to play FBI agent in Quantico! He said, “Humne uski acchi training ki MP mein. Ab dekho kaise uncha naam kama rhi hai USA mein. Uski America mein FBI ke wajah se demand zyaada ho gayi.” However, PC too was no less! She pulled Prakash’s leg for making a full fledged debut as an actor in Jai Gangaajal! She said, “As a co-star I got an ability to pull his leg because I am his senior in acting.” To which Prakash replied, “I touched her feet everyday! Priyanka said intni bhi daat fatkaar nahi mili kyuki main apni aukaat bhulti nahi.”Priyanka Chopra is all set to woo us with her tough cop act in Prakash Jha’s Jai Gangaajal. The film which is based on politics, corruption and the role of police system in all this, has quite a big music album. The album’s Music arrangers & programmers are Salim Merchant, Sulaiman Merchant, Dub Sharma, Raj Pandit, Abhijit Vaghani & Karsh Kale.
Well, though the two pretended to share a love-hate bonding at the event but we all know how much they admire each other! Check out the trailer below and do come back to BollywoodLife for more updates! The first song from the album is Maya Thagni. The song is loaded with an indie flavor that is similar to Indian Ocean style of music. Crooned by Pravesh Mullick with vocals that compliment the setting of the song, Maya Thagni will make up for a decent song for the credits of the film. It very rightly promotes the film’s Central India based plot.
