Hello,
I ordred a product from jabong recently and had a horrid experience with its delivery issues.
This is the second time they have messed up the delivery of their products. I have ordered in total about 3 times from the popular website. Out of which they have tortured me mentally for the delivery twice.
The second order, a month back,was lost in shipment. They very casually refunded and cancelled my order which I had bought for my birthday. Pointed out to their terms and conditions saying they are not liable for it.
The third and the latest order a month later than the previous episode, they sent the wrong invoice to the shipment company. It was a prepaid order and they marked it as COD to the shipment company, following which despite the order being ready to be delivered it cant be as jabong needs four days to solve the technical issue of such less complexity. I wonder howhard it is to generate a new invoice and mail.
This was my second chance given to the famous website and it failed again.
Points that disturb me are
How can they not be responsible for the goof ups they do every time
They mention in their terms and conditions, they are not responsible for the mental agony caused due to the delivery issues. How about not giving any agony to your customers in the first place? A condition like this should not be applicable and allowed for an e commerce .
Jabong please pay attention to your logistics, which reminds me that should be the most important thing for an e- commerce website. Pretty lousy job there.
All these people think nothing about the customers, they should be made to pay for the mental harrasament. You can just shrug off your responsibilities!
Through this blog I would like to raise a concern on the double standards of the indian e- commerce websites.
