Excellent delivery and refund policy. Review on Jabong

I ordered for 2 kurti through Jabong.com recently. I do not trust online shopping, but this time the already installed app of Jabong in my new mobile looked quite interesting. I selected few kurti among which I ordered two, just to check the quality of the material. It failed miserably, because it didn't even go near what it looked like in the photos. Moreover the material looked quite cheap and I didn't have any option other than returning those.

Now comes the most tricky part. Return and refund. My previous experience with some other online portal was just horrible, I am not mentioning the name here. They made me almost cry in frustration. I was quite apprehensive while ordering, if something like that happens this time, oh god, spare me that frustration this time. Luckily, god, (read Jabong management) listened this time and what came next was quite surprising.

During placing the order, I couldn't do it at one shot because my baby was up and screaming at the top of her lungs. Within half an hour I got a call from their executive, if I want I can do it via phone also. I preferred ordering online and placed the order at night. It was a Friday. Next day, I got an intimation that my package has been shipped. So soon? I was surprised. But next day itself(Sunday) I got another message, the deliveryman is out to deliver my parcel! Well, that's really FAST!

However I was not satisfied with the product and decided to return it. The app itself had options like return and refund policy. I chose pickup from doorstep and refund by Jabong credits, because I wanted to shop something else. Surprisingly, the package was picked up on Tuesday itself(I booked for return on Monday). On Wednesday my refund process was initiated and by next week those points were in my account at NO EXTRA COST! This is the best part, in the name of processing fee and cancellation charge they didn't deduct a single rupee also. I am truly appreciating this one.

This positive experience helped me to choose some better products later and the delivery was super smooth this time also. I stay in a remote place where postmen also hesitate to visit and ask in advance if anybody is available at home. But Jabong's delivery partner Delhivery was really good at it, through proper communication and messages they delivered it much before the expected delivery date. I am very much satisfied and planning to do more shopping through Jabong.com.
