JAANE-----"MAN". Review on Jaaneman

Well as the title sugests the story revolves round two "MEN" and their LOVE for a" WOMAN"

The triangle as always. Though with a title like this and the star cast like AAkshay, Salman & Preety Zinta ,would definately want one to go and see this movie.

I had heard very mixed views about the movie, and was not to sure weather I should really venture into seeing it, but my favourite being AAkshay I made up my mind to do so.

But I was not too very happy with the way the movie turned out. Certain parts of the movie seemed very absurd, one wouldnt know weather to term the movie as a love fiction, reality or just plain time pass, with nothing else to do.

The story had this basic 3 characters Suhaan, Piya and Agastya. Two men with absolute diverse personality. One absolute a go getter and a great talker , while the other a shy meek character, who is never sure about what to talk. It is only the MAN who decide what should Piya(character name) do and what is best for her and work only in that direction. I really didnt understand a story where , a man tells another man to get married to his wife just because he does not want to pay an alimony amount to his wife. You call that Love?????? Then he suddenly relises that he has a kid, so now he wants to have his wife & kid back??? That was not digestable............

The whole movie is in flash back, where one flashback is mingled into another and how each character is woven with the other.All in all it was not to expections.

It was Shirish Kunder's debut film, so one can say he still has a long way to go..................

Salman and AAkshay were good in roles they did according to the requirement of script

Anupam Kher was gud at being a BAUNA.................(haha)

Preity looked glamourous as usual....................

The only saving grace was MUSIC by ANU MALIK.................

(though there wewre a bit too MAny songs)

BUT "SUHANI" (child of Piya & Sohaan)takes the cake...................
