Nothing Aamir about it!

Over the last few years, we have come to associate Aamir Khan with silver screen brilliance, be it in front of the camera or behind it.

But alas! The midas touch elludes him in his first venture as a producer.

The movie is undoubtedly good but not excellent. And we expect only that from Aamir.

I have had the advantage of watching two big hits of Genelia down south and can tell you that she is an exceptional talent and can stand her own even among a group of legends.

Imran has potential but somewhere he held back. He could not be as good as he promises to be. But he does seem to have more depth than many recent new faces, Ranbir included.

The rest of the cast did justice to their selection except for the Shah couple. For they did what they have always done... exceeded expectations.

A special mention needs to be made for the great Smita Patil and Raj Babbar's son Prateek Babbar who plays Genelia's brother in the movie. He is the star to watch for in the near future. His acting has a maturity that reminds you of his mother.

The general feel of the movie is nice and the plot did not throw up surprises except for the Khan brothers. Sohail has a reputation to guard, that of having a great funny bone, and he did guard it with his life. Arbaaz was a pleasant surprise as he matched his brother perfectly.

The director breathed life in to a plain story and that's a great job for a first timer.

The music should not be commented upon as the God himself created it.

My recommendation is to catch the earliest possible show and watch the movie for Genelia and Imran. It does keep you glued till the end even if the storyline is very predictable because it is fantastically casted, edited and directed.
