ॐ~Jaan meri Jaan hai tu Jaan le zara~ॐ. Review on Jaan - Sonu Nigam

“What’s wrong Anusha??” asked my friend. “Why are you feeling so depressed?”. “Nothing really..” I muttered restlessly with a hopeless and unhappy feeling. “Oh come on there has to be something wrong Anu..tell me”. “Ah, its nothing yaar..just that…” – “Just that what?”. “Sonu ke gaane nahi sun sakti hoon na…”. There I went again. With the whole depression of not getting got hear any Sonu songs. That also on Valentines Day! Shame on me…I have practically insulted all of the Sonu fan’s in the world. Bhai aur behno..i’m very sorry. :(

Me: I feel so restless..

Me: Sonu’s voice is so cute..

My thoughts: So is Udit Narayan’s.

Me: Sonu’s smile is just so breathtaking..

My thoughts: So was that really cute guy passing by yesturday.

Me: Sonu Sonu Sonu…why did his music come into my life?

My thoughts: Yaar, why did teachers come into our lives? :P

Yeah, you all have to be thinking right. Why is Anusha so krazy for Sonu? I love the guy so much that I don’t even want to remember the first time I heard his name. Coz I’m just so interested in him and his wonderful voice. I have this sort of feeling for him, though not in the way for just his looks but for the part where he just totally rocks personality wise in my opinion.

So, I decided to write a review on his Album Jaan, because it seems to go in well with Valentines Day and is extremely romantic as well!

Tera Milna Pal Do Pal

I love the little instrument at the starting which gives such a impressive and innocent feeling to the album. He does a little talking before singing which is just so adorable and then goes into the song perfectly. The music in the background also gives sucha mystic thought to his voice as well. Whenever I feel like I listen to the wordings of this song and it just hypnotizes me into it’s music. The lyrics where Sonu talks in the middle, still brings such a cute appearance and his voice also sounded sexy as well. (duh). :P It’s a really romantic track.

Deewane Hoke Hum

Gosh..don’t tell me! I just fell in love with this song right when I first heard it. Which was like a few years back but still..i am still in love with it and will always be. The music in this song is just so refreshing and romantic which just gave me such a good mood. The wordings were wonderful and Sonu sings it with such relaxation. The person who created all of the background music has some really good sense of music coz it just rocked. You can feel such a refreshing vibe through you while listening to the song.

Jaane Kyon Main

The piano at the starting totally gave such a good feeling to my opinion and I definitely thought it would be a good song to listen to from the start to the end. It’s a soft track but the backgound music is averagely fast but also has a good and rhythmic beat to it. It is sort of like a heart breaking song. Where the guy is thinking of the girl all the time and talking about what is happening to him when he is not with her. It’s just really beautiful when you come to think about it.

Jisne Mere Sapne

The wordings are just so adorable in this song. I don’t know what..but it just drives me crazy and the way he sings it gosh..i feel like screaming out..”sonu I love you!” It’s another slow track but actually wonderfully made and the music can get so romantic and melodious. A very balanced feeling of music to make the songs wordings feel more important actually. Which is actually what I look for more in his albums. The way he sings them so fluently and clearly all in one breath. He impressed me a lot in this one.

Main Pyaar Hoon

A relaxingly cute song. The wordings yet again impress me again. I find that there are practically more of just music rather than the lyrics but now, it seemed like as long as Sonu has sung it in such a good way and there isn’t much to say about the song. However, it went in as a good addition to the album. I find his love songs are more than enough to lighten up my day. (Sonu Sonu Sonu..:P).

Mere Dil Mein

The piano has always fascinated me and I just think it went so well into this song and blended in really nicely. Hehe, whenever I’d listen to this song, my friends would just telk me to be quiet and stop singing along with the music! I’d infact tease them and sing it even louder. Sonu’s voice just sounded wonderful and I don’t know how he does it but what can I say..in my opinion he is the dil mein rehne wala who just makes it go dhadak dhadak :D. Did I mention I have listened to the song 750 times. Yup, I have counted.

Argh. This song just makes my dil go Mmmmmmm. The music is slow and romantically composed. I liked the way the music had an even and balanced beat which went in well with Sonu’s voice so well. All I can say is the song is beautiful and I love it infinity!

Tujhe Chhune

I love the lyrics he says at the starting again. Makes me want to scream again…”I love you SONU!!”. This one is my all time favorite in the album coz it brings out the best lyrics in the song in my opinion and also the wordings are like he’s about to do the same he sings in the song..”tujhe chhune ko dil kareee”..(Kaash mujhe chhu sakta) :(. I remember the time my friend sung this song almost exactly like how Sonu had sung it, and that also for me! I was heart touched. As I said..the lyrics are just so beautifully thought of. I wonder what the person thought of while creating such fine and touching wordings. Any Sonu fan would definitely love this song. It’s really sweet.

Final Words

This review goes out to Sonu for being one of the people who I have always liked and has always brought in his adorable voice into the world of music. I find this album of Sonu’s really resembles the real feeling of Love. Happy Valentines Day Everyone!.
