Costly and Not at All Prompt. Review on JPS Packers and Movers

We send 2 of our bikes through this service to another state, It cost us 9000 for 2 bikes, and it was promised to us that they would collect the bikes from home and drop in the address we have given, Once they come to pick the bike, they see that the bike was not in running condition so they ask us extra money for hiring a tempo to take it to their warehouse ( Initially it was 8000, after taking the bikes they hiked it to 9000).

Once the bikes were taken, they did not make an attempt to call us even once to give us an update on if the bike had left Pune or is still there, We had to make all the calls and the calls cost would surely be 500 rs. Plus to keep calling them, the Truck owner and the Truck drivers.

The bikes left Pune on 18th Feb from our house, and on calling them after a week, they say they were sorry and the bike is still in Pune as no one was willing to take the bikes, finally after a day or two, they sent our bikes. and on 4 March they dropped the bike in the address we had mentioned. In the meanwhile, when we contacted JPS, they would ask us to call the truck owner and then the Truck owner would ask us to call the Truck driver to get an update, We were really upset by the service JPS provided.

Finally when the bikes reached the state we had mentioned. The truck drivers call us and tell that the bikes would be dropped 48 kms from our hometown, we kept arguing with the truck drivers that we paid for home to home delivery not halfway drop! Finally after constant calling here and there, JPS spoke to the truck drivers and agreed to drop at our house, and they went  at odd hours to drop the bike. At 4 am they dropped the bikes. Then the receipt mentioned a 300 Rs fee for we don't know What. So totally we spend 9000+ 200( for giving us the hand written receipt in Pune)+ 300( for dropping bikes in the address we said)= 9500 Rs.

Totally stressful week we had sending bikes through JPS. One good point which they did was good packing, Rest everything was a flaw. Especially they never taking an initiative to call the customer and update them on the condition of the bikes.
