In the initial days after its launch the product became so popular that it was one of the most sought after portable speakers. It was convenient to be carried in a car and the shape and size made it convenient to be used while travelling.
Sound quality is fairly good considering how small the product is.
It is perhaps one of the best table accessories when you use a laptop. Bluetooth connects easily but not very steady. Once a few days we have to uninstall the bluetooth software and reconnect it and this turns out to be a bit of extra work.
With many more models now out in the market, JBL should not be pricing this product so high even now.
Cons:
Battery is not long lasting. It lasts barely for 2 hours.
After about 2 years of use, the metal mesh starts to give a buzzing sound.
Battery may lose its ability to hold charge after 1-2 years of using and it will have to remain constantly plugged in.
There are multiple more options now available in the market and after having used them, including the far cheaper Chinese brands, I feel this product is no so much the best in class kind as there are much better alternatives. It is quite surprising that this is still being sold and at the same inflated price as before.
