"It Started with a Friend Request" is just an ordinary novel and Sudeep Nagarkar, the author fails to make an impression with it.
The story starts well with nice introduction of the characters but after few pages it losses its pace. In the book Nagarkar has made the characters giving long speeches almost everywhere. At some points when short conversations could have done justice, he unnecessarily dragged them and those long conversations look like speeches.
A lot more was expected from Sudeep Nagarkar in this novel in terms of content and its catchy title with a beautiful cover. But it completely lacks the intensity to make it a worth reading and that has made it just an average looking love story which is too predictable towards the end.
