Hi everybody,
The human beings who have practised the Jewish religion have been repressed historicaly in very many parts of the world. This is has been part of history. Their flight for freedom has even given us the English term or word, diaspora. There are very many reasons that are attributed to the hate that has been showered upon them. The are intellectually strong. They have a habit of being prudent and parsimonious in expenditure.
Obviously this made the other communities to look upon them with suspision and crude jealousy. This could traced back to even hundreds of years. Why even the great Bard saw with malise Shylock. This bred the feeling , an imagined feelingang others that the Jews in general were responsible for all the ills in the society.
What has gone unnoticed is the fact what the Jews' contribution to many subjects and which were epoch making in many ways.
For example, 1) the greatest scientist of our time Albert Einstein, 2) Great economist of our times Karl Marx, 3) musician of world reknown Yehudi Menhuin, 4)Movies maker
Steven Spielberg. Apart from this the world known media personalities have been Jews.
We in this part of the world could have a parallel to this to understand this better about the hate and scorn that has been spewed historically upon the Jews.
The Brahmins and particularly those from the South part of the Indian subcontinent have been subject of the same repression for years.
The reason for this has been the negative and illfound feeling among the other communities that they were ill treated by them , which was unfounded for.
Secondly the westerners with thier objective thought found only the Brahmins to be worthy contemperories.
My conclusion is that is history is a like a stepmother which will repeat itself, but in different part of the world.
