Circa British Raj in India, in a small village, Bansiram Pran has owned and maintained a plot of land donated to him by a kind-hearted Zamindar.

The Zamindar (Shakti Kapoor) passes away, and his lecherous, womanizing, and alcoholic son views this plot, and describes it as heavenly, and wants it at any cost.

Bansiram refuses to sell, and the Zamindar's son wants it by hook or by crook.

Bansiram appeals to the British for protection, which they provide, and Bansiram is thus able to save his property.

Shortly thereafter the Zamindar's son passes away, and his look-alike son, Devraj (Shakti Kapoor) comes to take-over the estate.

Devraj does not consider taking-over Bansiram's land as a priority, and years go by.

The Zamindar's soul, unable to complete it's task during this life-time, wonders around in anguish and pain - waiting.

When Devraj finally goes to see Bansiram, he finds an elderly semi-senile man, who has a grandson, Chotu (Aamir Khan), who wants to build a business on the land to sell alcohol, and Devraj decides to take advantage of this situation with unpredictable results.

Chotu moves into the city to find a job and he is homeless, where he meets up a drunk (Bharat Kapoor). Who lets him stay at his home and then Chotu falls in love at first sight when meeting Chinky (Farah).

Devraj forces Bansiram to forge his signiture to by his property so he himself can be the owner of his land to avenge his father death.

The ending of this film has to be the funniest I have ever seen, when Shatki Kapoor is doing whatever he can to kill Bansiram by cursing him but at the end Devraj dies for no apparent reason.

The music of this film is rubbish and all the actors in this film were looking like tramps from the gutter.

Pran acting in this film is the only saving grace to come out from this horrible film who plays his role with conviction of the old Bansiram.

Aamir Khan had nothing to do in this film, all he needed to do was dance a few music numbers and do a bit of fighting that it.

Farah is like wise the same.

Oh dear lord, what was that movie all about?

Aamir Khan name came first in the titles and he appeared in the movie half an hour later! It was all about Shakti Kapoor, being handicapped, old and torturing young women!

Haha that was on tv yesterday.

I didnt bother watching it.

This film has to go down as the worst Bollywood film I have ever seen, because this film has no story lines and poor songs.

Everthing about this film is rubbish to say the least.
