'Ishq-Vishq' was on the roll from the moment the promos hit the small screen. Everyone was talking about that cute guy who resembled SRK. The music catched on pretty soon. It was considered to be inspired by 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai'. A remake of Karan Johar's debut movie. But all the hoopla was over once the movie hit the theatres. It turned out as a nice & entertaining lovey-dovey movie & made huge collections at the box-office.

RAJIV is a typical college-goer. Most of the guys identify with him. Immature & kiddish. Peer-pressure influences him a lot. He is looking for a girlfriend for timepass. Just to feel that he is with-it. To make sure that he has gone there & done it all.

Miss Touch-Me-Not !!

PAYAL is a sweet & innocent gal. Just like an average gal who is Indian at heart. She's smart & beautiful, no doubt. But labelled as a 'Behanji' just coz she is not much into dating guys & for her life has much more to look forward to than boys. Just this trait made her infamous among the boys.

Love Is An Illusion !!!

Rajiv is her childhood friend & studies in same college. Payal has a huge crush on Rajiv but never dares to let him know. Rajiv is not at all interested in her, though adores her as a friend. He makes Payal as his girlfriend on the exhortion of his friend. That lusty move of Rajiv appears to her as a true & genuine love proposal. She was in love with him from a long time & this step made her dream come true....

Then one night at a farm house with all his friends in a party mood, Rajiv tries to force himself on her. Obviously, she resists & then they both break up. Rajiv feels frustrated & declares that ''one day he'll have the best girl of the college as his girlfriend.'' Payal, though feels devasted, tries to keep her cool.

''na dard jaaye.. na neend aaye.. na ek pal bhi aaye karaar..''

Ohh I Love Sachin !!!!!

ALISHA brings a twist in the movie. A head-turner enters the college and spells a magic on all the guys. Rajiv wins her heart and makes her his girlfriend. His dedication pays him. Thats what he makes the whole-&-sole aim of his life afterall - to win the best girl of the college. Anyhow, their love doesn't last. How could it anyway?? It was not love in the first place. It was an attempt to impress other boys.

True Love Wins !!!

Finally, he starts missing Payal. Realises her importance in his life. And in the end, Rajiv declares infront of the college that he loves Payal.

''Maine kaha tha ek din iss college ki 'Best Girl' meri gf hogi. And Payal is that girl. Best in all ways.''

Payal's love for Rajiv makes us believe in love. Love never gives up & that is what Payal exhibited.

Its Simple to be Difficult but its Difficult to be Simple.

Love stories ends up with a good-feeling. Feel-good factor is assured in love-stories. And Ishq-Vishq is no exception. But what made this special is the vibrant & refreshing touch by way of new actors. They added charm to the movie & spiced up the whole experience. Ishq-vishq might not have got much accolades, but its a movie far better than other love-stories ( read KHNH & KKHH). Both the KJ movies were stylish enough but 'Ishq-Vishq' was simply sweet.
