Iris hospital is located just next to Big Bazar, Ganguly Bagan on Raja S.C. Mullick Road. It is a multi specialty hospital and already number of people visit this hospital both for OPD and in house procedure.
The ambiance is quite sophisticated and it is fully Air conditioned one like other super specialty hospital. Lift service is there to go upstairs up to 9th floor.
They provide services in areas like Maternity, Gyneocology, Cardiology, Dermatology, Neurology, Orthopedics, Pathology etc. They have their own ambulance service as well as emergency section.
This hospital also got their own pharmacy on the ground floor. As this hospital is just 10 minutes walking distance from my place, I often visit the pharmacy section to get some regular medicines.
They also have their own diagnostics services where one can get full body checked up. Like other hospitals, they are also providing some packages for the same.
I am not fully satisfied with the list of doctors they are having. And also people having surgical procedure in this hospital are just unhappy about the excessive cost and infrastructure of the hospital.
This hospital is quite new and still there is no huge rush of patients, still diagnostic costs are on the higher side compared to the nearby clinics.
I had just one experience with this hospital where I took my wife for her Gyneological problem to OPD. First, they register the patient and take the amount upfront. We consulted Dr. Mridula twice and it was just an average experience, not much satisfactory.
Staffs and nurses in the hospital are professional and courteous. But, to gain the confidence and trust of common people, this hospital has long way to go. People are having mixed reactions about their service and I know some of these people personally.
Though, I visited this hospital twice for OPD check up, I am still not recommending this hospital as the best option.
We have to wait and watch.
