I had very pathetic experience in while booking a ticket in IRCTC. This is very mismanaged website.
I was booking a ticket from Parasnath to New Delhi railway station 2nd class AC on 26th December 2017 for date of 14th Jan. I filled in the details put my phone no. and then proceeded for the payment from the debit card.
To my utter disappointment the message of successful payment came in my phone but there it showed booking failed. And is the payment has been made then it will refunded within 7-10 days. It has been over 10 days and still I haven't heard from them regarding the payment in spite of writing a mail to them.
Be careful while booking a train ticket here. IRCTC should work on improving this website and should fix all the payments related to payments.
