It was about 2 years ago, I booked a ticket online via irctc.co.in for vaishno devi. The train was late for more than 8 hours. So I did not travel and filed TDR for a full refund as per their clause 'full refund if train late more than 3 hours'. I applied for the refund on 14th day after the journey date.
After a month or so, I received 50% refund. Kept complaining, and finally received a reply that the TDR was not filed within stipulated time. I replied to them that there stipulated time period is 30 days and I filed in within 50 days, I also mentioned that I will go to consumer court if they do not resolve the issue.
No response for the last one year or so...
