Excellent Speed very expensive. Review on Iqara Broadband

Iqara started in pune about 4 months back in my area and I was one of their first customers to go and buy it, since I was a major downloader of information on the internet, also the fact that I could stay online without a time limit as opposed to telephone also appealed to me a lot.

So I went ahead and bought the connection. The guy promised me if that 2-3 ppl from the building bought it you could get 50 MB per guy extra free. I coaxed 2 more people in my building from buying it. I got the connection and the speed was excellent and much better than my dialup.

I still maintain my VSNL account as I have been having it ever since its launch in 1996. The speed was good, but my first 100MB was over in 3-4 days. So I went ahead and purchased 500MB more and then that got over in 2-3 weeks and that too because I was consuming it wisely, then I went ahead and have selected their unlimited package.

Yes the initial package of 5000 rs deposit and somemore money is steep. But 1000rs per month for unlimited downloads at a speed of 56 is godsend. I would not call it expensive as my phonebills just for the internet are about 5000rs and thats for 2months. So I am saving about 1000-1500 rs a month and thats good. So what I suggest is that if u want speed... and unlimited downloads... and that too cheaper than dialup.

And ofcourse you can shell out the 1000rs per month. Buy iqara broadband delite, because it is a delite. And also being a computer engineer helps since the tech support have no clue what they do, the guys who came to install the connection were basic electricians, and I actually helped them out.
