Inzamam ul haq is one of the greatest legends of the Pakistan cricket team.

Everybody knows that he is a true match winner. He has given many match winning performances for Pakistan. Every time when Pakistan is on the backfoot, there is Inzamam to ease it out. He nearly performs at every crucial time when Pakistan needs him to perform.

But he has some pitfalls also. One of them is his running between the wickets is not good. Everybody knows about his bad (I will say worst) running between the wickets. But then he also has the ability to hit sixes and fours without moving from his place and hence many times he does not have to run. There are many other specialities about him which I am not specifying as my intention of writing this review is not to focus on these things.

Inzamam was declared out due to obstructing the field in the first match at Peshawar between India and Pakistan in this current series (Hutch Cup 2006). Inzamam was not happy with that decision and he told the press conference as well as written in the newspaper that the appeal which Indian team did for getting him out was not the spirit of the game and this will affect the relationship and spirit of the India Pakistan match and even the Indian and Pakistani players.

First of all, whatever decision the umpire had given against that appeal was correct and fully legal as far as cricket laws are concerned.

Secondly, I would like to remind Inzamam about some incidents (which I remembered. Thank God for making human being memory weak so that we forgot the past soon otherwise I would have done something bad with Pakistani players) of India Pakistan match which clearly states that almost 90% times, Pakistani players has misbehaved or have done something which distructs the spirit of the game.

  1. Aamir Sohail was directing Prasad towards the boundary after hitting four runs on

Prasad's bowling. I do not remember the venue and series of that match.

Is this the spirit of the game Mr. Inzamam?

  1. Javed Miandad was jumping on the pitch to tease Kiran More as he was

appealing for LBW.

Is this the spirit Inzamam likes?

  1. Shoaib Akhtar bowls bouncers to Sachin everytime and to almost every Indian

cricket player. His intentions clearly depict that he does not bowl bouncers to

make Indian batsman out but to get them injured.

Didn’t you look on that Inzamam? It happened under your captaincy.

I am stating here only 3 incidents but there are many more I can write. So Mr.Inzamam, I just want to tell you that before teaching the Indian cricket team how to behave on the field, first look at the Pakistani players and teach them how to play cricket and above all how to maintain spirit of the game.

I remember once Imran Khan told in the press conference that ''Agar Kashmir ka problem ground mein solve kiya jata to Pakistan Sharjah mein Kashmir jeet chooka hota.''

I just want to say to Mr Imran Khan and to all Pakistani's that just try to understand the meaning of that sentence. He meant to say that ''Pakistan ki military mein kuch dum nahi hai aur issi liye Pakistan kabhi jang ke maidan mein India se jeet nahi sakta''.

Mr. Inzamam please go and teach your lesson to Pakistani cricket players.

Jai Hind!
