Pakistan is a nation of CRICKET LOVERS and CRICKET ADMIRERS(like india),Cricket is not just a game but it is like a passion there(like india).
is not only played in grounds but it is also played in LANES,every lane is as packed-house as Eden gardens(calcutta) and these lanes just dont give us GULLY CRICKETERS(the cricketers who just play in lanes)but they have also given us great cricketers like RAMIZ RAJA,JAVED MIYADAD,ZAHER ABBAS and out of these lanes a legend has come into the world of cricketers,INZAMAM-UL-HAQ.
When we often talk about about Inzamam we just talk about his poor running between wickets,we often pass various comments on his language(english),but there is no doubt that INZAMAM is one of the finest talents that pakistan has ever produced.
BATTING:In test match cricket INZI has scored 7453 runs in 166 innings and he has scored his highest 329 aganist KIWIS,In test matches he Averages about 50,he has scored about 21 tons and 38 half-centuries.In one day cricket he has scored 10,900 runs in 318 innings at an average of almost 40,his highest is 137(N.O).
He is many times compared to GREAT VIV RICHARDS because he has similar technique like VIV RICHARDS,he judges the lenght very quickly and that is why he is good at FRONT-FOOT and BACK-FOOT.His shot selection is very UNIQUE,he hardly plays any shot wrong.Many cricket expects were commenting that INZI is over(in 2003 world cup)but mighty INZI has prove them all wrong by giving good performances .
FIELDING:INZAMAM is not one of the swiftest man on the ground.but he certainly has one of the powerful ARM in the world of cricket,his catching is also very good,he hardly misses any of the catches that comes to the big man's way,AFTER Mark waugh and AZHAR UNCLE,Inzamam is the best slip fielder.INZAMAM is like a dude(i m not trying to degrade him)he talk to press about himself and when every one feels that he cant deliver he comes like SHAHRUKH and delivers and goes away.
INZAMAM AS CAPTAIN:INZI became captain of PAKISTAN,when PAKISTAN was going though bad time,He became captain when pakistan failed in WORLD CUP 2003.And from there he has taken pakistan to a new era of cricket.He has guided way for PAKISTAN and also helped pakistan in those Critical times,And now if you see PAKISTAN is one of the best cricketing nations.
I feel that INZI should be awarded with some valuable thing because in happy times everybody comes to you and wants to show you the right way,but in bad times the man who comes forward to guide you to the right way,he is a real man and INZI is a real man.AND many people say that CAPTAINS can only do CAPTAINSHIP,they can't BAT but the big man has prove all of them wrong.
ON THE WHOLE,INZAMAM is a brave man and a True Cricketing legend,For PAKISTAN he is a GODFATHER who has handed the camp in bad times.But for others nations he is like a NIGHTMARE because he plays so well.And inzamam will always be rembered for those huge sixes and good pull shots that he plays.If you ask me I say that INZAMAM uncle is one of the stylish,classy Batsman that this world has ever seen.
