Our Earth is dying and group of cosmonaut needs to find new home before it’s too late for people living on Earth. For every 1 hour spend in space it will be decades passed on Earth, a theory well established but yet not practiced that’s what  Interstellar is all about a movie which gives imagination to his audience to see some really fascinating quantum physics theories in action on 70mm IMAX screen.

Interstellar is not for everyone, I meant it in both ways…everyone will not be taking Intergalactic journey in future nor everyone is going to like Interstellar the movie. Interstellar the Movie is difficult to describe in the same way how for years Scientist are finding it difficult to balance all the equations of space, time and Gravity. It’s a journey to the final frontier “The Space” to solve the riddles it has to present to our relative toddler mind. It is also an emotional journey of a father who is battling the time to reach back home(EARTH) ASAP so he does not lose the connection with his children specially his daughter Murph.

Christopher Nolan is known for making “Cold” Movies; he has always surprised us with his subject matter and his interpretation of things and mostly left us guessing about the ending of the movie. He does not let us down here too. Interstellar is one remarkable Sci-fi thriller with amazing shot sequences and some great chilling moments coupled with great music score and acting but it is also a thought provoking movie and a movie which gives us some plot issue as big as the Garangula “the Black hole”…or did he?

Interstellar also take his inspirations from Stanley Kubrick - 2001 A Space Odyssey, Stanley movie dares to go where no one has gone before so does interstellar and many aspect of Interstellar can be compared with Stanley Masterpiece. However Interstellar is neither 2001 A space odyssey nor does it pretends it to be, it has its own story and its own problems too. What is really astonishing about this movie is that we expected to see A bucket load of On the face SGI effects, but never in this movie you will feel you are seeing something which isn't real, the movie draws you inside and within sometime without you ever noticing, you will get transported into the space shuttle and you will find yourself sitting along with the cosmonaut taking the interstellar journey to a different world…A world with planets having ocean tides which are 100 feet high, to the edge of Event horizon of a mesmerizing Black hole. In this regard Christopher space time saga is remarkable piece of Art.

My suggestion is if you want to see this movie please read Stephen Hawking – A Brief History of Time because without understanding the basic concepts of Quantum Physics theories you just cannot understand or appreciate this movie and although the movie is 160 minutes long it just cannot explain these theories on screen. HENCE The end result was me witnessing half the crowd leaving Friday night Theater cursing this exceptional piece of Art. If you don’t like time space movies and can't stand that kind of chit chat than please don’t see this movie and watch Night crawler which by the way is another great cinema of different genre.

Overall I have not gone into the story and what happens and who is good and what is bad in this movie because when a movie takes on a subject of such magnificent scale than the movie goes beyond acting and dialog delivery and than it’s not worth criticizing menial things …remember 2001 A Space Odyssey had 20 minute sequences without a Single dialogue.

That said everyone is fine and the crew has a robot which is unexpectedly and unlike HAL 2000 is exceptionally funny … yeah he always lights up dark gloomy and cold mood of the movie.  That said the film needs to repeat viewing to fully appreciate the story line and although it has his problems with plot and narration it is still one great ride into the INTERSTELLAR space.
