Having been the avid user of internet banking I can say that it has been a very useful tool to manage my accounts and home economy.Checking my account online in the bank and in various credit cards helps me keep track of my expenses and spending and makes me aware of my information getting into wrong hands.
Once my creditcard number was hacked by a guy in Russia along with about 10, 000 others in USA and published on the web.since I got the information from various internet sites I was able to keep careful track of my account online and was able to act immediately when I found a$5 unauthorised charge on my creditcard from Global Inc in Russia. I immediately cancelled my creditcard and contested the charge and was able to avert bigger perils.
That was achieved only because of internet banking.That creditbureau had provisions of Internet banking and I was able to keep track of my account.
My bank accounts are also kept track of through internet so that I will know of any variations. Moreover the service is free and security encrypted.Iam able to keep track of checks credited and deposits added.In USA most of the companies offer direct deposit provision so using online banking Iam able to keep track of that also.
Ofcourse a smart hacker may be able to hack the info but I will come to know of it soon and contest the charge which is one benefit.If I need to talk to a live rep I can also hop over to the bank or call them on Phone and get my problems resolved.
