If I have an AKA(Also Known As) Certificate, my other name will be ‘Selfie Queen’. If I was a celebrity I would have given competition to Priyanka Chopra and Sonakshi Sinha in the matters of number of selfies taken and posted on Instagram.
Some people say taking Selfies is a psychological disorder; however I would say I have a psychological disorder and my medicine is Instagram. It is so much relief to see myself posted with PC, Sona, Sonam, Bebo and the Kardashian Clan.
What is Instagram?
Instagram is the best photo sharing app/website I have used so far. This is one of the apps that are frequently used by me. Being a blogger, checking my Instagram is a routine now. One can share selfies, twofies, groupfies, pictures, videos of everything and anything(abiding to the rules) on Instagram.
What are the best and worst aspects of Instagram?
Best Aspects
- Easy photo and video sharing – One can share their best pictures and videos instantly. You don’t have to be tech expert to actually use it. This is no rocket science. If I find it User-friendly, then anyone can –should!
- Amazing Filters – They have nearly 23 filters for your pictures. These are really cool and gives a whole new look to your photos. My all time favorite – X-Pro II and Lo-Fi along with the new filter of Juno.
- Can find most of the B-Town Celebrities – we all knew exactly what Sonam Kapoor’s Breakfast were during the Cannes and how the others look in their out of bed selfies.
- Feel connected to the entire world and gets to see really amazing pictures – Some photos really makes you feel you should go travel those places.
Worst Aspects
- Cropping means literally ‘cropping’ – need to install another app for the entire picture to be posted – Instagram should have the full photo coverage or framing systems as Instasize has. Right now I have to do dual work of going to Instasize(Review for this coming soon) framing the picture and then uploading it on Instagram.
- Not all the locations are under the location tag – under locations, I hardly find locations from my area.
I personally love this app and recommend this to all my friends who are not using it. I recently got my BFF download the App and I am sure she loves it too.
