Story:

Insomnia ,what is it? One simple answer would be to loose sleep. Another would not be so simple. Welcome to another great horror oddessy by the master storyteller, Stephen King!

Ralf Roberts is an old man of about 60 who is suffering from Insomnia after the death of his wife.He thinks of it as a temporary phase and let's it go but unknown to him he being controlled by even greater forces, which we cannot even percive of. The universe is governed by four constants-that being Life, death, the random and the purpose. Of them there is a conflict between the random and the purpose. The random wants to destroy a child, whose destiny is one which would change the world as we know it but as being the case the purpose is admanant on preserving the child. At first Ralf starts waking up at earlier and earlier. Then the hallucinations start-the colours, shapes and strange auras. Not to mention the strange bald doctors who turn up at the scene of a death. That's when Ralf begins to loose a lot more than sleep.

When he begins to understand why his mild mannered friend suddenly begins to loose control and goes insane. And why his hometown is about to become the new armageddon. An evil of unimaginable proportions has found a way in and Ralf has one chance to beat it.The stakes are high, they really are when you are playing for human souls, and a joker in the pack, a man with the rusty scalpel. Read it if you dare!
