My sole purpose is to raise awareness and prevent other people the trouble !!!I want to share my harrowing experience of buying double cot from one Inscape furniture located just under the Marathalli bridge near SJR spencer apt. I ordered one double bed King size from this shop similar to the one available for display in the shop. With in a few days of delivery the upper layer of the cot started to come off due to the poor quality of glue used. The paint also started to peel off from some places and shockingly that too within a week !!! The quality of the material used for the drawer and storage was only 0.4 inch and it is too thin to last for even a couple of months. The real pain came when I started dealing with the shop owners regarding the defects. They will say we will replace but every time I would call either they would deliberately not pick the call or by chance if they pick then they would make some excuse.
Obviously for a working professional it does not become easy to run after cheaters like these to recover the money or get things repaired. Then I realized the mistake I have made by going for the cheap material available in the local shop that look very similar to the ones displayed in the Home or Home town or any other branded furniture shop but actually lack severely when it comes to the durability and quality. My take is always go for branded products while buying products like cot and furniture, where at least you can expect them to stay good for more than a year rather than going for similar looking cheap products from local shop that cost half of their branded couterpart but would give you a tension of life time. Right now I wish I should have spent another 20K and bought a good and stable product from a branded shop then from these pathetic looters.
